Mound Shape and Construction Techniques of Kofun Tumuli, AOKI Takashi, Archaeology Quarterly, 167, 66, 69, 01 May 2024, Yuzankaku,Inc., We attempted to compare the mound shapes and mound construction techniques of Japanese and Korean burial mounds and tombs. In particular, regarding mound construction techniques and methods, he introduced examples of excavations in South Korea, where progress has been remarkable, and noted the reconstruction of the three-dimensional mound construction sequence and characteristic techniques. The author pointed out the following. As an extension of this, he also speculated that the terminal phase of kofun tumuli in the Asuka area introduced plate construction, which is a technology used to build the platforms of temples.

Restoration of the Sakurai Chausuyama and Mesuriyama burial mounds and their evaluation, AOKI Takashi, A Study of the Sakurai Chausuyama Kofun Tumulus: Re-excavation Survey and Re-arrangement of Excavated Artifacts, 205, 213, 22 Mar. 2024, Archaeological Institute of Kashihara, Nara Prefecture, Based on the newly created red three-dimensional map and contour map, we reconstructed the size and shape of the Sakurai Chausuyama tumulus and the Mesuriyama tumulus, and organized the figures and characteristics of the two tumuli. Based on the comparison of the maps, we pointed out that the Houriyama burial mound in Ota-ku, Tokyo, is a strong candidate as a similar burial mound to the Sakurai Chausuyama burial mound. In addition, since the Sakurai Chausuyama burial mound was carved out of the ground, it was assumed that the cleared forest and soil from the construction of the mound were used for development of the surrounding area, which led to the understanding that the buried person had the character of a development king.

The Construction and Relocation of the East and West Pagodas of Yakushiji Temple: Issues Raised by the Excavation Results, AOKI Takashi, Origin of Yakushiji Temple's Twin Pagoda Complex, 31, 56, 20 Apr. 2023, FUZANBO INTERNATIONAL, Inc., Based on the excavation results of the Yakushiji Temple East Pagoda, he explained that some parts of the pagoda, such as the exterior materials of the platform, were brought from the west pagoda of the main Yakushiji Temple, and that the East Pagoda was not completely newly built. The reason for the extremely strong construction of the upper surface of the platform was not to strengthen the structure of the pagoda itself, but rather for religious reasons that emphasized the eight phases of the Sakyamuni and the pagoda's role as a tombstone for the Sakyamuni. However, because it was difficult to construct an octagonal pagoda, two square pagodas were erected, which was a result of the importance placed on faith in the Buddha. He believes that the appearance of the twin-pagoda layout in the future needs to be examined with more emphasis on the Buddhist aspect.

Position of Stamps on Sue Ware with "Mino-no-kuni" or "Mino" Engravings, Aoki Takashi, BULLETIN Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties 2022, 14, 15, 30 Jun. 2022, There is a Sue pottery engraved with "Mino Kuni" or "Mino Kuni". As a result of observing the cases excavated from Heijo Palace and Kyo, it was found that the positions of the stamps tended to be different between the cases excavated from Miya and the cases excavated from Kyo. Therefore, he pointed out the possibility that production and supply were carried out by distinguishing between those for Miya and those for Kyoto.

37, 52, 58, 25 Jun. 2022, First, many of the towers set up in the national government pointed out that the Fujiwara no Nakamaro administration may have built a device close to Nakamaro as a device for directing power. However, the installation of the louge was not done in each country. It is hard to say that the Kokushi enthusiastically promoted such adaptations, but he said that he could depict the Kokushi as a basis for maintaining the status quo. Next, from the examination of the distribution of pottery excavations, it was speculated that based on the morning affairs in the Chodo, the Mamoru / Sukeza was set up as the Kokushi Higashiwakiden, and the Jō / Mezaza was set up as the Nishiwakiden. At the same time, the Dazaifu Government Office SB500 argued that it was positioned as an office space with a traditional sitting position, in contrast to the fact that the side hall is based on the earthen floor and also has an aspect as a place of ritual.

Civil Engineering Technology and Tower Construction of Kokubunji : Deducing the Construction Order of the Sagami / Musashi Kokubunji Halls and Towers, AOKI Takashi, KOKUGAKUIN ZASSHI The Journal of Kokugakuin University, 123, 4, 1, 24, 15 Apr. 2022, Kokugakuin University, We classified the foundation of the Kokubunji temple and the construction technology of the excavation ground industry, and compared it with the temples in the Kinki region such as Kokubunji. As a result, if the construction technology of the Kokubunji temple is to be transferred by training from the capital, the construction technology adopted in the temples in the Kinki region, where the date of construction can be grasped relatively accurately, precedes the temple in Kokubunji. Based on this understanding, the order of construction of the Sagami and Musashi Kokubunji temple tower was restored.
In addition, in Saidai-ji and Yuge-dera, which use a lot of large gravel for the foundation and digging ground industry, Dokyo is deeply involved in the construction, and there are many Kokubunji temples that have adopted similar techniques. In other words, it is unlikely that the Kokubunji temple tower preceded the construction of Saidaiji and Yugi-ji, and the conclusion was drawn that was different from the view that the construction period of Kokubunji was short.

The Archaeological Characteristics of the Jomei Court, AOKI Takashi, 第121巻, 第11号, 312, 331, 15 Nov. 2020, KOKUGAKUIN University, Among the excavation results of the Kibiike Abandoned Temple, which is considered to be a The Kudara Daiji (The Great temple at Kudara), the characteristics of the base plate construction of the pagoda and the golden hall were extracted, and the technical source of the construction was found in the Tang Dynasty based on an examination of similar examples. It is understood that the people of each region who were recruited to build temples introduced the techniques they acquired to the region to impress the royalty and at the same time, to strengthen the royal power. The Musashi Fuchu Kumano Shrine burial mound is an example of an example of construction by an influential person who had a close relationship with the royal authority and extended the Baekje temple construction techniques. The Dan-no-tsuka tumulus, which is believed to be the tomb of Emperor Seimei, is known as the first octagonal tomb of a great king, and it is said that the tomb was intended to be differentiated by its shape. On the other hand, the Musashi Fuchu Kumano Shrine burial mound is well known as an upper round lower burial mound, and since the distribution of upper round lower burial mounds is concentrated in the Kanto region, it was concluded that, as with the tombs of the great kings, the rulers of each region promoted ranking by creating different mound shapes from those used in the past. Based on the above points, the Seimei dynasty is considered to be an important stage in the development of the foundation for the new government of the Kotoku dynasty.

JP20H00039, Clarifying the actual situation of early royal tombs in Japan - from the perspective of the "industrial revolution of domestic production" -, In this study, researchers in the field of archeology and cultural property science collaborated to rearrange the excavated artifacts and analyze them from a new perspective, mainly targeting the Sakurai Chausuyama Tumulus, which is one of the large keyhole-shaped tombs from the early Kofun period. Based on these results, we also tackled academic issues such as elucidating the characteristics of early royal tombs and the technological innovations that served as the power base of early kingship of Japan, as seen from the large amount of domestically produced items that were buried there. As a result, we decided that the early royal power led the domestic production of handicrafts, the development of domestic resources, and played a central role in the creation, production, and distribution of prestige goods. And it has been revealed that the various elements of Sakurai Chausuyama Tumulus have quantitative and qualitative excellence that sets them apart from those of ordinary kofun.
