- Mind and Water: How Saigyo formed the expression "bottom of the heart", Yuya Araki, Nihon bungaku-ronkyu ; The journal of Kokugakuin, 81, 75, 85, 20 Mar. 2022, In this paper, we argue that Saigyo discovered purity in the word "kokoro no soko" which was also used to express the depth of the heart in love, because of the relationship between the mind and water, and made it possible to use it in songs chanting Buddhist.
